Culture room Alfter
On a plot of land in the heart of Alfter, which is built with an old greenhouse, studio spaces are created, as well as a community meeting place – a meeting place of artistic action.
An empty greenhouse, a few boards and an idea: these are the ingredients that gave birth to the Kulturraum Alfter.
For this purpose, we leased and developed an old greenhouse. With second-hand materials, a usable studio with the very best lighting conditions was created in just a few months. Today, the revived glass building serves as a cultural space for various purposes: Whether as a meeting place for the association, a retreat for artists or as a possibility to creatively design – in the cultural space Alfter is space for transformation.
